Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Strategic Initiatives FinOps and Project Lead to plan, coordinate, and deliver cloud-focused infrastructure initiatives. You will partner across IT, finance, security, and operations to improve cost visibility, governance, and cross-functional project delivery.

The role blends hands-on financial planning, cloud operations, and structured project execution, requiring FinOps experience and Azure or equivalent platform expertise, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT project delivery, infrastructure initiatives, or similar roles.
• 3+ years in cloud FinOps practices: cost analysis, planning, forecasting, optimization, governance.
• 3+ years Microsoft Azure System Operations / Admin or equivalent cloud platform.
• Experience leading multiple projects/workstreams with clear ownership.
• Experience collaborating across infrastructure, security, operations, and delivery teams.
• Strong analytical skills translating technical/financial data into actionable decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience working with vendors or external delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mature cloud FinOps processes across Hubbell cloud environments, including cost visibility, allocation, forecasting, optimization tracking, and recurring reporting.
• Partner with infrastructure, application platform, and finance stakeholders to identify savings opportunities, improve governance, and support budget alignment for cloud services.
• Directly evaluate, collaborate, and execute on identified cloud savings opportunities including rightsizing, RI and Savings plan execution, and storage management.
• Lead and execute cross-tower infrastructure and cloud initiatives from intake through implementation, including planning, milestones, risk management, and status reporting.
• Intake, architect, and deliver strategic demand across infrastructure with focus on cloud, automation, and operational improvement.
• Drive work across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure accountable execution and remove blockers.
• Develop executive-ready reporting and presentations communicating progress, costs, decisions, and risks.
