Pivotal Health is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to transform data into clear insights across the business. You’ll join the Strategy & Analytics team to automate finance reporting, support invoicing, and ensure accurate logic for claims, payments, and fees.

You will build dashboards, reconcile data across systems, and maintain core data models to enable reliable forecasting and reporting in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a Financial Data Analyst or Analytics role.
• Strong SQL skills and comfort with large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience working with financial data, not just product data.
• Strong analytical instincts to identify trends and anomalies.
• Clear communicator for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards that power the business: create and maintain recurring Finance dashboards and reports, automate where possible.
• Validate and reconcile data across production systems, Salesforce, Metabase, and financial reporting; investigate discrepancies.
• Own data models used for invoicing, revenue reporting, collections, and forecasting.
• Keep systems aligned by coordinating changes across Salesforce, Rillet, production systems, and Finance reporting.
• Build data quality controls and alerts to catch upstream issues before they affect invoices.
