Job summary

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to turn financial and operational data into insights that guide decisions across clinical divisions. You will work with leaders to analyze performance, build cost analyses, feasibility studies, and data models using OBIEE, Essbase, Power BI, and Excel.

The role supports annual budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements while providing training and presentations on financial topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• Master's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, accounting or financial project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, reporting, and data management for clinical operations.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
• Develop dashboards and data models using OBIEE, Essbase, Power BI, and Excel.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and reconciliation of financial data and reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to meet reporting needs.
• Train staff on financial reporting and system usage.
