Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–10 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Understanding of cost and project accounting, financial reporting, controls, and SOX.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with sophisticated models.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems / ERP.
• Ability to challenge processes and propose solutions.
• High attention to detail and data integrity.
• Effective cross-functional communication across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support monthly internal/external reporting for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for management.
• Partner with Project Managers to analyze profitability, margins, and forecasts.
• Prepare month-end close entries, estimates, accruals, and adjustments.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support bid/proposal reviews with profitability and cash flow analysis.
• Apply accounting judgment to ensure GAAP compliance and controls.
• Lead variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and investigations.
• Assist with SOX controls documentation and testing.
• Promote standardized financial policies and improve processes.
• Support working capital initiatives, collections, and cash flow.
