Job summary

Perrone Landscaping Inc is seeking a driven Director of Finance to lead the financial function in Holden, MA. This full-time, in-person leadership role offers a path to influence growth and profitability within a thriving landscaping company.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, payroll, and reporting, develop strategies, mentor the team, ensure tax compliance, and present results to senior leadership. The compensation package includes base salary and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; professional certifications (CPA, CMA or MBA) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction, landscaping, or field services.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Aspire and related tools).
• Experience with job costing, project-based accounting, and budget management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements to senior leadership.
• Ensure tax compliance and audits meet regulatory standards.
• Analyze job costing, project margins, and operational expenses to drive efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.

Education
