Job summary

Google Sunnyvale is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for Technical Infrastructure Finance to partner with the TI Networking team and lead long-range planning, including CapEx and OpEx, delivering actionable financial insights across the business.

You will work with senior leadership, model scenarios, and guide strategic resource allocation while building a high-performing team to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience building, developing, and managing teams.
• Experience in finance including planning, annual planning, financial reporting, business case review, cost management and executing automation within a multinational company setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and business leaders to create long-range, capital expenditure (CapEx), and operational expenditure (OpEx) plans while ensuring sound financial governance.
• Drive strategic projects across the networking team, including engaged bench-marking and process automation.
• Lead subsea, terrestrial, and research and development (R&D) portfolio investments, efficiency initiatives, and business case reviews.
• Manage unit cost and cost allocation efforts to ensure predictable, fair, and transparent costs for internal customers.
• Build and empower a high-performing team to deliver on key financial and business goals.
