Job summary

CBRE in Boston is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Finance Strategy and Operations team responsible for the annual budget, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, and produce routine and ad hoc reports for senior management, while upholding CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting.
• Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows and supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
• Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
• Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit.
