Job summary

Gatrans is seeking a Director to lead treasury, FP&A, risk management, and rate management. You will shape financing plans, manage relationships with lenders and rating agencies, and drive annual budgeting with a 10-year horizon.

Strong leadership, advanced degree, and extensive experience in electric utility finance are essential. You will guide financial risk mitigation, rate communications with members, and capital allocations, while mentoring teams and driving strategic financial decisions

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in finance, treasury, or rates in electric utility/co-op.
• 10+ years equivalent experience with advanced degree, license, or certification.
• MBA, CFA, CPA, or CTP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury operations and risk management functions.
• Strategic development and execution of the financing plan.
• Own relationships with rating agencies, investors, banks, and external advisors.
• Develop annual corporate budget and monthly variance analysis/reporting.
• Lead long-range financial planning with a 10-year forecast.
• Lead financial risk mitigation using insurance and hedging instruments.
• Oversee rate structure finances and communications with members on billings and patronage allocations.
