Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Vice President of Finance in Niles, MI to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee accounting and finance functions. This executive role partners with senior leadership to drive performance, improve efficiency, and support long-term growth.

Responsibilities include leading financial operations, month-end close, GAAP compliance, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury; mentoring the finance team and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including executive leadership.
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic planning.
Experience leading accounting teams in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury.
Oversee month-end close, financial statement preparation, and ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
Provide strategic financial analysis to executive leadership, including KPI reporting, profitability analysis, and business planning.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, capital planning, banking relationships, and annual audits.
