Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle seeks a Finance Manager to build financial analyses that drive service pricing decisions and shape the direction of the AWS Network. You will analyze marginal network costs, evaluate benefits of new designs, and lead cost-efficiency efforts with engineering, product and finance partners.

The role requires strong financial modeling, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to present to AWS Networking leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or equivalent with 5+ years in a quantitative role.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data to support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of financial models measuring actual and marginal cost of data transfer across the AWS Network.
• Collaborate with engineering partners to quantify financial benefits of initiatives within AWS Networking or cost of new products.
• Build automated reporting tools to track consumption of network resources used by AWS services.
• Represent Network Finance in collaboration with finance teams to assess cost reduction initiatives.
