Comfy is seeking a Lead, Strategic Finance to build a comprehensive financial model as the first finance hire. In this role, you'll make critical financial decisions and provide actionable insights to the founders, contributing to the growth of a fast-scaling cloud business.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic finance, a strong ability to model complex data, and a deep understanding of usage-based business models. This position offers an attractive salary up to $225K and opportunities for equity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
• Exceptional modeling skills with a clean three-statement model.
• Comfortable working with data and extracting insights independently.

Responsibilities

• Build the financial model from scratch and own all major financial analytics.
• Run FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Crack the unit economics and analyze cost drivers deeply.
• Create KPI dashboards and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Support fundraising efforts and prepare board materials.
