Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 10 years related experience.
• Certified Public Accountant designation (active or inactive) highly preferred.
• Electric utility industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to translate financial data into clear business language.
• Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, economics, financial markets, and banking.
• Proficient with financial systems, databases, and advanced Excel.
• Highly organized, ethical, and able to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies for sustainability and financial strength.
• Advise the CFO and executive leadership on financial performance.
• Establish and monitor financial policies and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Manage lending activities and investment decisions.
• Conduct strategic financial analysis and present recommendations.
• Direct financial risk management and manage the cost-of-service model.
