HMSHost in Bethesda, Maryland seeks a Director of Business Development Finance to maximize investment returns by delivering fact-based financial input and evaluating potential opportunities.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams to build detailed business cases with pro forma analyses, assess risks and returns, and present capital-approval packages. Leadership experience in hospitality/retail finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and MBA or related master's are preferred.
• 8+ years in finance with leadership in development or hospitality sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate development opportunities in new or existing accounts.
• Provide financial input to select concepts and structure deals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to build comprehensive business cases.
• Prepare and negotiate terms for subtenant and joint venture deals.
• Lead post-audit reviews comparing projected vs. actual performance.
• Support capital approvals and SCAR processes with detailed analyses.
• Lead senior managers in finance for accounts and project finance work.
