Job summary

Our client, a leading management consultancy, seeks a skilled Management Consultant with expertise in Financial Advisory to join their Upington-based team. You will support clients with financial planning, risk management, investment analysis, and strategic financial decision-making.

The role requires strong financial acumen, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and collaboration with client finance teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certifications like CFA or CA(SA) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting with a financial focus.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Experience working with businesses in the Northern Cape region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advisory services, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Conduct due diligence and valuation analyses for potential mergers, acquisitions, or investments.
• Advise on risk management strategies and financial controls.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and recommend areas for improvement.
• Support clients in capital raising activities and debt restructuring.
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
• Collaborate with client finance teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
