Job summary

Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, seeks a Financial Analyst to guide internal teams on financial decisions aligned with growth, efficiency, and process improvement. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with corporate teams.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and have strong accounting/finance skills, plus experience with ERP and planning tools. This is a full‑time position based in Georgia.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Basic understanding of GAAP and FASB
• Experience in Budgeting, Finance, Accounting or similar experience desired

Responsibilities

• Understand complex processes and translate them for internal training
• Create reports to support financial analysis across the organization
• Develop insights to influence business decisions and resource allocation
• Support budget preparation and financial reporting
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures and regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
