Job summary

Eastern Washington University seeks a Director of Finance and Administrative Services to lead budget preparation, financial analyses, purchasing, payroll and HR support within CAHS. This role reports to the Dean and partners with EWU Finance to guide college-wide financial strategy and operations.

The successful candidate will drive complex budgeting, provide advisory support to leadership, and advance policies and procedures for administrative areas while collaborating across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Experience communicating complex financial information to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Dean, Associate Deans, and Chairs to set financial policies.
• Lead annual budget preparation including grants, endowments, and contracts.
• Provide CAHS financial leadership and monitoring of fiscal performance.
