Job summary

Flatirons Bank is seeking a results-oriented SVP, Finance and Accounting to lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax strategy, and regulatory work. You will partner with executive leadership and the Board to drive profitability and compliance across the bank and holding companies.

You will oversee GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting including Call Reports, and the QSF program, while leading forecasting, ALCO, and intercompany activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 10+ years in bank finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical, finance, accounting and math skills.
• Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax strategy, and regulatory reporting.
• Provide financial insight to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual statements and intercompany accounting.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations, audits, and external engagements.
• Chair ALCO and support balance sheet management and IRR modeling.
