Job summary

GSK is seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to execute the external engagement strategy across a therapeutic portfolio in Orlando, FL. Qualifications

• PA, NP, MSN, or advanced degree (with a medical or clinical focus).
• Two or more years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans and has experience applying this knowledge clinically.
• Must live within territory specified.

Responsibilities

• Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision makers and stakeholders in the therapy area/geography.
• Respond to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals with scientific, balanced responses.
• Disseminate safety information and provide scientific exchange about medicines to HCPs.
• Maintain expertise in evolving scientific/therapeutic areas and competitors.
• Attend regional account planning/training and contribute to medical portions.
• Attend national/regional medical meetings to capture data trends and provider insights.
• Support clinical development activities and investigator-sponsored studies; liaise with R&D.
• Conduct discussions with steering committees, advisory boards, and other investigators.
• Provide scientific training to GSK sales reps and healthcare professionals.
