Job summary

You will establish relationships with elected officials and trade groups, lead planning for proposed laws, and communicate positioning to internal audiences while guiding cross-functional teams toward compliant, effective advocacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in legislative, regulatory, or government relations at the local, state, or federal level.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Minimum five (5) years of professional experience OR Minimum eight (8) years of experience in legislative, regulatory, or government relations at the local, state, or federal level.
• Experience in health policy, communications, public affairs, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises internal stakeholders and senior leadership on developments in legislation, regulations, and public policy.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with elected officials, policymakers, trade associations, and other groups with minimal supervision.
• Leads planning efforts and responses to proposed legislation and regulatory proposals.
• Communicates positioning to internal audiences and provides recommendations.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to influence outcomes and achieve business objectives.
