Job summary

Bosch Group in Norman, OK is seeking a Production Scheduling Specialist to translate the Master Production Schedule into weekly and daily production plans that minimize inventory and maximize productivity and customer service.

You will coordinate across Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure on-time materials availability, maintain ERP replenishment signals, and support ERP-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• This position requires a two-year degree in an appropriate field of study with 1–3 years material management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and analytical ability is essential.
• If no degree, an additional three years of related experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications.
• Extended knowledge of MRP and ERP experience; SAP preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly and daily production schedules from the Master Production Schedule to minimize inventory and maximize productivity and customer service levels.
• Provide timely communication to production personnel regarding schedule changes with short- and long-range impact.
• Ensure schedule attainment, adherence, and inventory DOH meet plant performance measures.
• Collaborate with Materials Manager to maintain capacity requirements that support the master schedule.
• Coordinate with Supplier Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely materials availability.
• Maintain ERP replenishment signals for manufactured items to ensure smooth material flow.
• Manage daily production support, set priorities, and address supply issues.
• Maintain effective working relationships and communication across departments.
• Support ERP-related scheduling and inventory control process changes.
• Participate in clear-to-build meetings and adjust production schedules as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
