Job summary

Potomac is looking for an External Wholesaler to support and grow its tactical investment strategies in Indiana and Illinois. This role requires a driven individual with a strong sales background and the ability to manage relationships with financial advisors.

The selected candidate will represent Potomac, conduct face-to-face meetings, develop business plans with internal partners, and ensure client needs are met through tailored investment solutions. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are essential.

The position offers a competitive base salary of $100K, plus monthly commissions.

Qualifications

• Experience as an external wholesaler selling mutual funds, SMAs ETFs, or VAs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, or 3 years as a top internal wholesaler.
• SIE, Series 7, and either 63 & 65 or 66 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Represent Potomac and distribute all products within the assigned territory.
• Conduct 1:1 and group meetings and presentations.
• Develop a business plan with an internal wholesaler.
