Job summary

Lumen is seeking a strategic Principal Executive Recruiter to lead VP+, SVP, and C-suite searches across AI, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and data leadership. This senior IC will partner with senior leaders to define leadership needs and build differentiated talent strategies.

Fully remote position within the United States; you will shape executive hiring, assess talent with evidence-based methods, and influence compensation partners to raise the bar on leadership quality and transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive recruiting with VP+/C-suite searches.
• Proven ability identifying and closing exceptional passive talent in competitive markets.
• Experience with executive search methodologies, market mapping, and structured assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end executive searches for VP, SVP, and C-suite roles from strategy to onboarding.
• Build and manage executive talent pipelines across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology leadership domains.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic hiring recommendations to senior leaders.
• Drive talent density by attracting exceptional leaders who enhance capability and transformation velocity.
• Assess executive talent using evidence-based methods while maintaining high-touch candidate experience.
