Job summary

Immanuel Leidy’s Church in Souderton, PA seeks an Associate/Executive Pastor to serve as a second-chair leader to the Lead Pastor, guiding strategic mission, ministry alignment, and organizational systems.

You will oversee church operations, staff development, pastoral care, worship leadership, and governance processes, while fostering a healthy culture and faithful stewardship across generations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master of Divinity or equivalent preferred.
• Ordination or ordainability according to church constitution.
• Demonstrated leadership and ministry experience.
• Ability to lead teams, manage organizational systems, and execute strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lead Pastor to implement mission, values, vision, and priorities.
• Collaborate with Elders and Consistory to set practical plans and goals.
• Assess ministry effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Oversee staff, volunteer alignment, and leadership structures.
• Provide regular reports on ministry outcomes and staff health.
• Preach, teach, and assist in worship leadership as needed.
• Develop systems for pastoral care across generations.
