Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Richland, WA seeks an Environmental Manager II to provide leadership for environmental management at a large multi-line manufacturing facility.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and drives compliance, sustainability initiatives, and KPI tracking to protect people and the environment. Responsibilities include coaching staff, leading EHS pillar activities, and ensuring training and audit processes are executed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences.
• 6+ years progressive experience in environmental/engineering field.
• Expert knowledge of environmental regulations and their impact in manufacturing.
• Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment to fulfill compliance needs.
• Expert knowledge of operational practices for environmental control systems on water supply, wastewater, air pollution and solid waste.
• Leadership skills to work as a peer and advisor to other departments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and computer application skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to plant staff to build capabilities and ensure effective execution of EHS initiatives and standards.
• Ensure all facility staff receive appropriate environmental training.
• Serve as EHS Pillar Leader (or Co‑Leader) to align and drive site’s Compelling Business Need (CBN).
• Mentor pillar team members for successful engagement and ownership of integrating EHS pillar activities into daily plant activities.
• Track and manage submittals of Sustainable Development information (data, goals, award applications, etc.).
• Participate in environmental audit process at the site and other facilities.
• Manage facility’s environmental program ensuring requirements are timely met and tracking is up to date.
