Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior Enterprise Networking and Security Architect in the SF Bay Area to own the architectural blueprint for our global network security footprint across hybrid environments. Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking and network security engineering with leadership in large-scale environments.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust architecture and advanced network segmentation for massive, global hybrid-cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP with on-prem).
• Extensive hands-on experience with security automation and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with using AI/ML tools to simplify operations and enable auto-healing.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM architectures, data flows, APIs, IAM, data privacy, and model security.

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural blueprint and governance for our global network security footprint, ensuring scalability across hybrid environments.
• Define, develop, and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, including segmentation, access control, and traffic inspection.
• Drive the integration of security into all layers of network design, collaborating with security, infrastructure, and IT teams.
• Proactively identify vulnerabilities and lead remediation across on-prem and cloud environments, establishing best practices.
• Leverage Palo Alto Networks products and third-party platforms to enhance network visibility, protection, and threat intelligence.
• Champion and implement advanced network security automation using scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Serve as the escalation authority during critical security events, designing long-term architectural remediations.
• Provide technical mentorship to senior engineers, contribute to architectural standards, and foster a security-first culture.
