Job summary

Aureus Energy Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst to collaborate with Commercial/Sales, Operations, and Engineering to evaluate customer needs and develop project scopes for water management services.

You will track key metrics, assist pricing decisions, and support business development initiatives. You will develop and maintain financial and operational models, analyze performance against forecasts, and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in oil and gas, energy services, water management, or analytics preferred.
• Experience with upstream oil and gas operations or water management is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial and operational modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial/Sales, Operations, and Engineering to develop project scopes.
• Track and analyze customer volumes, revenue, pricing, and project performance.
• Support pricing decisions, proposals, and contract negotiations with analyses.
• Maintain commercial opportunities pipeline and dashboards for leadership.
• Prepare proposals, pricing packages, and term sheets.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; communicate findings to leadership.
