Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of progressive experience in research administration or related field.
• Experience supporting complex or large-scale research portfolios preferred.
• Ability to interpret federal regulations and sponsor requirements into practical guidance.
• Experience with audit readiness, compliance reviews or system implementations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university-wide effort certification program and ensure timely completion.
• Review effort data, resolve discrepancies, and support audit readiness.
• Manage the institution's effort reporting system and coordinate certification cycles.
• Provide guidance to departments, OSP, SPA and contracts teams on compliance.
• Develop training and mentor staff to improve research support processes.
