Job summary

Springline Advisory is seeking an Economic Development Professional to help communities and organizations grow through strategic planning and incentives analysis. You’ll lead multi-client engagements, develop plans, and support infrastructure financing strategies while advocating for sustainable economic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, Political Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in economic development, strategic planning, business attraction/retention, site selection, credits and incentives, or community development.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal economic development programs.
• Experience analyzing tax incentive programs and economic development financing tools.
• Exceptional written communication skills with experience preparing reports and professional client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support community and regional economic development consulting projects.
• Develop comprehensive economic development strategic plans and implementation strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis related to business recruitment, retention, expansion, and site selection.
• Analyze state and local tax incentive programs, credits, abatements, and financing tools.
• Prepare written reports, presentations, proposals, and client deliverables with exceptional attention to detail.
• Travel to client locations as needed.
