Applied Materials seeks a Senior Procurement Leader to drive supplier strategy and cross-functional partnerships across global teams. You will set cost reduction goals, evaluate suppliers, and lead vendor performance initiatives in line with the business plan.

In this role, you'll manage high-impact vendors, participate in quarterly reviews, and ensure ethical, compliant procurement practices while enabling strategic growth in semiconductor technology.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Engineering degree required (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Systems).
• Full-time role with 25% travel and relocation eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and strategic direction within level of authority.
• Lead cross-functional teams to support supplier objectives and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Set and drive clear goals for cost savings, value creation, and vendor performance against the operating plan.
• Maintain relationships with key internal customers and support organizations; develop cost reduction initiatives and supplier improvements.
• Evaluate, qualify, and select suppliers; align to the annual operating plan (AOP).
• Maintain awareness of vendor performance and participate in quarterly business reviews for high-impact vendors.
