Job summary

Blue Moon Metals is seeking a Director, Environment & Permitting based in the Town of Norway, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will lead all environmental, regulatory, and permitting activities for mining projects, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

They will work closely with various teams to secure permits for exploration, construction, and operations, while managing external consultants and stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental management, permitting, and regulatory affairs.
• Direct experience with U.S. federal permitting processes including NEPA and BLM.
• Strong knowledge of water permitting, land use permitting, and mine closure requirements.

• Lead preparation and management of permit applications across various project stages.
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs and compliance across the project lifecycle.
