Job summary

Trinity University in the United States seeks a Director of Career Education to provide senior-level leadership for career readiness, faculty engagement, and student-facing programs within the Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success (CELCS). The DCE will embed career learning outcomes and NACE competencies across curricular and experiential learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Business, Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in higher education career services, student development, experiential learning, or related areas.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Experience with student systems such as Handshake, GivePulse, Canvas, and Workday.
• Strong evaluation and assessment skills with ability to translate data into strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center’s Career Readiness team, overseeing assessment, strategy development, and student services that elevate career readiness outcomes.
• Collaborate with Institutional Research to align center-wide processes and campus-wide data needs.
• Design, implement, and scale Trinity’s career ecosystem, integrating career learning into curricula, co-curricular activities, and experiential learning.
• Serve as a strategic contributor to Center-wide initiatives, business operations, assessment cycles, and departmental evaluation.
• Define and direct career readiness assessment strategy, including success metrics and evaluation cycles.
• Represent CELCS at internal and external meetings, providing leadership continuity and championing career readiness.
