Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of prior experience in alternative asset management, law firm, or investment bank.
  • Experience with product structuring and product development.
  • Experience with fund offering documents, including PPMs, partnership agreements and subscription documents.
  • Understanding of the credit investment landscape.
  • Experience with US and global securities regulatory regimes preferred but not required.
  • Juris Doctor preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task across multiple deliverables.
  • Personable, organized, proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Thrive in a rigorous, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product structuring, development and implementation for Apollo’s credit platform.
  • Assist in creation and documentation of new product ideas, terms and structures.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, operations and tax teams on feasibility and formation of new/restructured vehicles.
  • Support investor onboarding, negotiations and lifecycle management of fundraising.

Job description

Position Overview

Apollo is seeking a Director to join the Strategic Diligence & Implementation team to focus on product structuring, implementation and investor onboarding across its credit platform. Work closely with senior members of the team to assist in structuring, development and implementation of new products for Apollo’s credit platform, including commingled funds, funds-of-one and separately managed accounts Work closely with Apollo Credit investment professionals, product professionals and sales professionals in order to contribute to the generation and documentation of new product ideas, terms and structures Collaborate with internal and external legal, finance, operations and tax teams in the evaluation of feasibility, profitability, structuring and formation of new or restructured investment vehicles Support senior members of the team, sales professionals and product professionals in the capital raising process, with investor negotiations and investor onboarding Support the lifecycle of the fundraising process.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 5-7 years of prior experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm, a law firm, or an investment bank
  • Experience with product structuring and product development
  • Experience with fund offering documents, including private placement memorandums, partnership agreements and subscription documents
  • Understanding of the credit investment landscape
  • Experience with the U.S. and global securities regulatory regime preferable, but not required
  • Juris Doctor preferable, but not required
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task: Strong capacity to manage multiple deliverables, seamlessly transitioning between internal and external tasks as needed.
  • Personal Attributes: Personable, organized, proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders across various locations and time zones.
  • Work Environment: Thrives in a rigorous and fast-paced work environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
Pay Range

$200,000-$250,000
