Job summary

Reading Partners seeks a seasoned Managing Director of Development to lead the national development team and align regional plans with org-wide revenue goals. You will oversee five fundraisers across eight regions and drive a $31.5M annual revenue objective, including $8.7M nationally and $22.8M regionally.

This is a remote role with geographic placement options across several states. You will act as a player-coach, shaping strategy, coaching frontline fundraisers, and ensuring strong donor

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive fundraising experience with a focus on institutional giving.
• At least 3 years of people management experience leading fundraising teams.
• Proven ability to cultivate foundations, corporations and government funders.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline fundraising for national and regional donors with a $2–4M portfolio.
• Coach Regional Directors of Development to hit $12.1M revenue target annually.
• Plan and coordinate pipelines, moves management, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with finance and marketing for proposals and reporting.
