Job summary

The Assistant Director of Development at University of California - Davis Health is an experienced professional responsible for planning, executing fundraising programs including digital fundraising for grateful patients and annual and special gifts.

This role is metric-driven, cultivating donor relationships, soliciting gifts, and working within a large matrix organization in Sacramento with a hybrid on-site/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience demonstrated through one or more years of professional or volunteer fundraising experience; or equivalent transferrable professional experience, including strategic relationship development and portfolio management; or equivalent combination of education.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships at all organizational levels and with outside constituencies, including donors and volunteers, to develop collaborative working relationships needed to accomplish organizational goals.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, including skills in creative and effective decision-making and problem identification/avoidance/resolution
