Job summary

Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Demand & Supply Planning leader to own the end-to-end planning process, aligning with production facilities, contract manufacturers, and sales/marketing to meet customer demand and optimize throughput.

You will manage demand plans, build consensus forecasts, run SIOP meetings, and develop the Master Production Plan and MRP for purchasing across all business segments. Travel to facilities and suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in purchasing, production planning/scheduling, or materials management.
• Broad planning and ERP experience, including hands-on work with computerized MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical issues with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage all demand plans in the company ERP system.
• Build a consensus forecast that informs the supply plan using multiple demand signals and tools.
• Lead weekly SIOP meetings and coordinate supply/demand risk reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Develop Master Production Plan and material requirements plan (MRP) for purchasing.
• Partner with plant operations to schedule production for bulk, finished goods, and packaging materials.
• Lead the Supply Review Process across departments to ensure timely planning.
• Develop vendor partnerships with toll manufacturing and packaging as needed.
• Coordinate DRP from sites to warehouses to ensure timely product delivery.
• Reconcile third-party site inventories and resolve discrepancies.
