Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting, inventory planning, and Open-to-Buy management. You will partner with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align forecasts with sales, margin, and service objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in demand planning methodologies, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or related roles.
• Strong written and oral communication across multiple business functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand forecasting across products, categories, channels, customers, and regions.
• Develop and manage Open-to-Buy plans aligned with sales, inventory, and financial objectives.
• Monitor forecast performance and lead cross-functional consensus planning.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory and purchasing decisions.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to measure demand and inventory productivity.
• Drive process improvements and automation in forecasting and planning tools.
