Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking a Forward Deployed Lead to oversee delivery across the SDLC for federal projects. You will work with data scientists, software engineers, and SMEs to define analytics capabilities and enable digital transformation for government clients.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, ensure secure architectures, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. A DoD clearance and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years leading project teams and delivering technical solutions.
• Experience as a Solution Architect or technical design lead.
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client-facing POC for status, escalations, and strategic delivery decisions.
• Lead delivery excellence—drive retrospectives, continuous improvement, and lessons-learned practices.
• Stakeholder communication—run customer sessions and write status updates for senior sponsors.
• Identify expansion opportunities within the account and support renewals.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold a responsible delivery culture.
• Own data flow, deployment architecture, and integration across the customer’s infrastructure.
