Job summary

Jain Global LLC in New York seeks a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to partner with investment professionals, source traditional market data, research products, and evaluate vendors across the procurement lifecycle.

Responsibilities include end-to-end sourcing, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing vendor management; build scalable processes, improve data quality, and leverage automation to increase speed and value. This role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data sourcing, procurement, vendor management, market data, or related function within financial services.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating traditional financial/market data and research products; exposure to alternative data a plus.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate products, pricing models, licensing structures, and commercial terms.
• Strong communication skills to work with investment professionals, vendors, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio managers, analysts, and investment professionals to understand requirements and source to their needs.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement lifecycle: discovery, evaluations/trials, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing vendor service management.
• Evaluate pricing, licensing, usage rights, and competing solutions to negotiate favorable terms and maximize value.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to move requests through review and approval.
• Develop and improve scalable sourcing and procurement processes using technology and automation.
