Job summary

CRH is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Intelligence Digital Products team in Atlanta. Based at the Perimeter campus with a hybrid work schedule, you will analyze internal data and market intelligence to uncover risks and opportunities shaping the construction industry.

You will develop actionable insights, support multiple Strategy teams and senior leadership, and contribute to end-to-end ML workflows, data preparation, and reproducible experimentation in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in data science, statistics, mathematics, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience delivering analytics or ML projects.
• Strong Python and/or R for data analysis and modelling.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
• Understanding of big data and data cloud solutions (Azure, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical reports and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Support end-to-end ML workflows including data prep and model evaluation.
• Contribute to reproducible, modular code with version control.
• Improve efficiency of data and ML processes through optimization.
• Write SQL for profiling, feature creation, and ETL/ELT validation.
• Collaborate with BI, data engineering, and product teams to translate questions into data needs.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security.
