Job summary

Rotunda Solutions seeks a Data Policy and Governance Lead to shape data sharing rules for AI and data initiatives within the Autonomy.mil ecosystem. You will advise senior DoW stakeholders and guide technical teams toward secure, compliant data access.

The role emphasizes standardized access methodologies, secure provisioning workflows, and policy alignment with DoW mandates while overseeing DSAs/MSAs and vendor integrations across DoD engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance, data policy, or enterprise data management.
• 3+ years in a Department of Defense or Department of War environment.
• Experience managing Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs/MSAs) and compliance with federal security mandates.
• Familiarity with auditing access controls in modern cloud data platforms and metadata management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish a standardized access methodology for data and models across the organization.
• Oversee streamlined provisioning workflows for authorized personnel.
• Audit access controls within Databricks Unity Catalog to ensure consistent enforcement.
• Mandate that third-party vendor capabilities adhere to governance standards.
• Ensure policy alignment with DoW mandates and manage Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
• Manage drafting, execution, and upkeep of DSAs/MSAs for secure data access.
• Represent Autonomy.mil in strategic policy discussions and technical working groups on data governance.
