Job summary

IVID TEK INC seeks a seasoned Program Manager with Data Governance experience to lead a cross-domain governance program, manage the 24-month data roadmap, and coordinate councils and workshops. The role emphasizes policy development, Alation-based governance, and stakeholder communications across engineering, data, and business teams.

You will drive Data Owner designation, onboard data stewards to Alation, and ensure timely data quality and issue resolution while maintaining program KPIs and SLA

Qualifications

• CDMP certification required at hire or commitment to certify within 12 months (DAMA DMBOK2 proficiency).
• 7+ years in data management, data governance, or enterprise program management.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise data catalog (Alation strongly preferred; Collibra or Informatica Axon, Atlan acceptable).
• Demonstrated experience running a governance program across multiple business domains.
• Strong written communication: able to write data policies, governance playbooks, and executive briefing materials.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders — capable of running a DQ dimension workshop with a domain VP and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the program plan and track milestones against the 24-month roadmap.
• Prepare the monthly Council scorecard pack: pull KPI metrics, draft narrative, identify escalations, present slides.
• Coordinate the monthly DG Council: agenda, pre-reads, domain escalations, policy review items, action tracking.
• Own the program communications calendar: all-hands kickoff, domain workshop scheduling, steward onboarding, literacy curriculum assignment.
• Lead the Data domain pilot end-to-end: Data Owner designation, Steward onboarding, Alation orientation, domain workshop delivery.
• Build the domain onboarding playbook from the pilot for remaining domains.
• Drive Data Owner designation across data domains with Jira coordination and 30-day commitment tracking.
• Onboard Data Stewards to Alation: enroll in Alation Academy, run orientation, track 6-week curation ramp.
• Manage the data issue intake process: own P1/P2/P3 Jira queue, track SLA adherence, escalate as needed.
• Draft policy and standards, maintain policy register, and own the domain governance playbooks.
• Configure the governance workflow in Alation with the catalog engineer and monitor catalog coverage monthly.
• Coordinate AI data governance in Alation: ensure model cards, lineage, and AI governance checklist completion.
