Job summary

Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead data center design and construction projects.

You will interface with PMA clients and guide teams through strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of complex facilities activations on-site in North-Central/West Texas. The role requires 8+ years in development and project management with data center focus, and experience as an Owner’s Representative or PM.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of development and project management experience, with at least five years focused on data center projects.
  • Experience as an Owner’s Representative or PM representing fiduciary interests of a real estate developer or investor.
  • Proven ability to lead master planning, budgeting, pre-construction, and design/construct phases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the client and project team through strategic real estate planning, design, and construction of new buildings and tenant improvements.
  • Oversee project teams through all development stages and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Manage budgets, cash flows, and pro forma metrics (return on cost, IRR, etc.).
  • Maintain project controls, construction documentation, and sequencing.
  • Build and maintain long-term client and professional relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with lease requirements and building/occupancy laws.
