SpaceX is seeking a Business Operations Manager in Austin to lead cost improvement and unit economics for SpaceX hardware programs. You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to model costs, set targets, and drive decisions that reduce cost while maintaining performance.

This role blends analytics with strategic execution, requiring advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related fields.
• 2+ years experience in Excel or programming.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial acumen.

Responsabilités

• Own Cost Improvement and unit economics for SpaceX hardware programs and establish cost targets.
• Analyze KPIs: cost per unit, revenue, cost of sales, Opex; develop cost models.
• Guide decisions across Supply Chain, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing toward cost targets.
• Track and report profit improvement initiatives on existing and future products.
• Drive cost optimization in product development and evaluate major CapEx decisions.
