Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Tax Manager for the Corporate Tax Services Methods Credits & Incentives practice. You will design, implement, and execute accounting method studies and fixed asset reviews, collaborating with Corporate Tax leadership to deliver high-quality consulting services.

You will lead and mentor engagement teams, participate in marketing and sales activities, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while upholding firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• CPA or JD/active attorney's license required.
• Five years+ of relevant experience in a Tax environment, Big 4 or comparable firm preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams on engagements.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and executing accounting method studies and fixed asset reviews for clients.
• Lead and mentor engagement teams and participate in marketing/sales aspects of engagements.
• Manage multiple client projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• Support firm standards and client relationships during engagements.
