Five Star Bank is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to drive clear, consistent messaging for internal and external audiences in Buffalo, NY. You will develop change communications, coordinate content for leadership communications, and help manage our brand voice across channels.

This role partners with Marketing, Investor Relations and Legal, demands precise writing and strong project management, and supports PR, community communications and quarterly KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years in corporate communications, PR or related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor tone to audience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in communications.
• Ability to plan and execute communications strategies.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deploy internal communications content and materials.
• Coordinate external change communications and customer-facing materials.
• Support public relations activities: press releases, media outreach and thought leadership.
• Maintain communications calendars and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Investor Relations and Marketing as needed.
