Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a hands-on Controller to lead multi-entity financial operations and support strategic growth. The role is a full-time, onsite position in Cumming, GA, offering a base salary of $110,000–$120,000 and a 5–10% bonus potential.

The Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow across entities, shaping the company’s financial foundation during a critical expansion phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 7–12 years of progressive accounting experience, 3+ years in Controller/Accounting Manager role.
• Experience managing multi-entity financials and consolidations; ERP systems (not QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for multiple entities with close cycles and consolidated reporting.
• Maintain and enhance internal systems, reporting structures, and chart of accounts.
• Oversee AP, AR, GL, job costing, payroll review, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany eliminations and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Coordinate tax filings, audits, and reviews with external CPA partners.
• Improve and enforce internal controls and financial procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
• Provide financial insights for executive decisions and vendor negotiations.
• Mentor accounting staff and interface with banks and insurers.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
