Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston, TX seeks a Contracts Manager for Strategic Contracting (OFE) to lead complex agreements with major manufacturers and contractors. This role oversees contract administration and changes, mentoring a team and ensuring CLM compliance across projects.

Requires 15+ years in LNG or power contract management, plus a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree, with strong negotiation and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience in contract management and negotiation in LNG or power industries.
• Proven ability to draft, redline, negotiate and lead commercial and contractual negotiations.
• Experience mentoring contract management teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft, redline, and negotiate complex agreements with strategic sellers and contractors.
• Manage contract administration for assigned business units.
• Lead and mentor a team of contract professionals.
• Define contracting strategies with SMEs including risk controls and taxes.
• Oversee change orders, task orders, and amendments; ensure CLM compliance.
• Coordinate project kick-offs, reviews, and close-out activities.
• Provide contract analyses and guidance to project teams.
