Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Contract Analyst I to monitor and analyze contract purchases and identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses for medical supplies and services. You will partner with Legal, vendors, and the Procurement & Analytics teams to enhance contracting processes.

Responsibilities include benchmarking, price analysis, and contract development, plus supporting department reporting and data tools. A strong Excel/Office background and a data-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Solid experience in a variety of software programs; expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Office required.
• 2 years analytics experience preferred; Purchasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze contract purchases to identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses for med/surgical products, services and equipment.
• Develop, modify and monitor contract processing procedures and activities; liaise with vendors, Legal and Supply Chain leadership.
• Conduct benchmarking, price analyses and contracting in collaboration with Sourcing and Buying teams.
• Support item file function and Daily Exception Report for the department.
