Job summary

American Global seeks a Contractual Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team. You will analyze construction contracts, assess risk allocations, and advise on indemnities and insurance terms across design-build and P3 projects.

You will work with contractors, legal and surety professionals to develop practical risk management strategies, review joint venture and subcontractor agreements, and contribute to client strategy and business development.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure law or energy sectors.
• Ability to translate complex contractual provisions into actionable risk guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze major construction and infrastructure agreements for risk allocation.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying exposures and advising on indemnities and insurance terms.
• Evaluate contractual requirements and project risk profiles to develop risk management strategies.
• Review joint venture, design, subcontractor, and project documents with attention to indemnities and liability.
• Bridge between contractors, legal teams, and insurance professionals to mitigate exposure.
• Contribute to client strategy, business development, and industry thought leadership.
