Saint Alphonsus Boise seeks a part-time Communications Specialist to draft and execute internal and external communications, advancing the health system’s reputation as an employer of choice and trusted healthcare provider.

Reporting to the Manager of Communications, you will write and edit content for newsletters, press releases, intranet, town halls, emails and social media, and support campaigns with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of related experience in internal communications, public relations, or marketing/communications.
• Familiarity with a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong interpersonal and written communications skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize initiatives; deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with executing projects in marketing automation platforms, and the use of project management tools like Trello.
• Identify compelling content across internal/external channels and social media.
• Independently execute within deadlines and collaborate with a high-performing team.
• Write/edit content for newsletters, press releases, intranet, town halls, emails and presentations.
• Support internal/external communications campaigns and evaluate results.
• Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team on social media content.
